Springfield Gardens Muslim Center Inc. (SGMCI) is a non-profit, and a registered tax-exempt organization in the State of New York. In 2020, amidst the challenging times of the pandemic, our community felt the need for a safe space where people could come together to pray and worship. We started with a humble prayer space in a brother's garage, accommodating a small group of five to eight people. Over time, our community has grown, and it has become vital for us to establish a permanent home for the Muslim community in the Springfield Gardens neighborhood. We have purchased a property that suits our needs for $600,000, and we are now collecting donations to begin Phase 2, which is to begin renovating the property. We are reaching out to the broader community, seeking your support and donations to make this dream a reality. Join us in creating a space where everyone can find solace, community, and spiritual fulfillment.
